Today has been the most relaxing day at work...ever. The sun is out, and I took full advantage of that while I sat at my Sunday Market registration post this morning. Reading When You Are Engulfed in Flames by David Sedaris (Nate let me borrow his signed copy, such a nice guy), writing the occasional receipt, and BSing with Brian about my family's podunk tendencies. I even got a little sunburnt. That says something considering the weather we've had...all summer. I managed to get a few minutes of office work in while I ate lunch. Port Gamble will soon have it's very own cookbook, which I completed some important word processing for. Brian and I went on our weekly field trip, this time to pick blackberries at Babcock Farm. He showed me a few wild raspberry bushes, and we picked several tiny apples from the trees that litter PG.
There's a fabulous wedding going on. But as soon as they're hitched (4.30) I'm out of here. And off to NewLife Kitsap. So looking forward to that!
Hanson, show 1/2, TOMORROW!
