Nate, Christine, and I skipped the Superbowl and went to Mars Hill Ballard last night. It was the first time I had attended a service at that campus.

My honest first impression was...well, that it felt like we were walking into a television studio audience. To an extent we were. Mars Hill broadcasts Mark Driscoll's sermons to it's 6 other campuses.

The message, on 1 Peter 1:13-21, was awesome. It resonated with me in some pretty uncanny ways. I can't wait to go back. We're going to start making the commute to Ballard for church every Sunday. Wanna come?

Yes. That sermon really hit home for me too. We're gonna commit to that place too, maybe not at 7:15 since it's so late. Maybe we'll catch you there sometime.

Sounds like a plan. The 5 service worked out pretty good.
