Mint.com is amazing. They do the budgeting for you. With pie charts, and bar graphs connected to all 53 of your bank accounts. No need to bust out the receipts and sort them into piles. Although I collected my receipts in a pretty envelope this month anyway.

Better awareness of your spending = more responsible management of your money. Check that one off my list.
