Last night Risa, Carole, Joel and I went to the Global Bean in Silverdale. What a find. If you're looking for a unique cup of coffee (or tea) it's the place to be. They have a great euro-cafe atmosphere with live music 3-4 days a week. It was a nice change of pace to be home by 11pm on a Friday night. The rain put me right to sleep. But I had nightmares about coming to work this morning. These are the important details: I'm by myself in town (no Brian, no Julie, no Shana...I've been dreading being the only weekend staff again for weeks), there's a fire in the maintenance shop, and I have my first encounter with a PG ghost (I threw water in the air to make sure there were no ghosts in the hallway, and sure enough as the water fell it revealed the shape of one...holy cow.)
So here I am. It's pouring down rain. I've been here for an hour and I already look like a drowned rat. And the bride today is expected 80 guests over capacity, which means there will be people standing outside. It's going to be a rough day, I can already tell.
Oh, and Happy Birthday, Mom!
