Yesterday was my Mom's birthday, remember? To celebrate she and a few friends went dancing at the Suquamish Clearwater Casino. By the time I got there, I worked until 10p, she was covered in pink boas, glowing medallion necklaces, and a happy birthday crown. Oh, and sloshed.
Two things: The casino crowd is very picture worthy. If I had a better camera you would be feasting on candid shots of Kitsap's finest grooving in gold sequined dresses, Carhartts, and turtle necks.
The band, called The Spazmatics (see photo :)), was a spectacular 80s cover band. Love Shack, Like a Virgin, Video Killed the Radio Star. Their repertoire covers the whole decade.
It was fun to see both of my parents dancing. It's a sight to be seen. Believe me.
